Oral and Extra-Oral Bone Harvesting for Maxillary Reconstruction

The course will be directed to surgeons and residents in the following specialties:
Oral, Plastic and ENT surgery. 10% discount for GSOMS members.
The course will be held at the Miami Anatomic Research Center (Miami FL) on May 2nd to 4th 2012. It will include lectures on each surgical technique follow by hands on cadaver lab sessions. We will be performing anterior and posterior hip, tibia, calvarial, rib, mandibular ramus and chin harvesting.
We will be also teaching the bone marrow aspiration technique. This course will offer to each participant an experience as close to the actual surgical scenario as possible. To accomplish this objective we will have teams of two participants on each side of a fresh full body specimen.
Medical and dental CE credits will be provided to participants by the CME department at Georgia Health Sciences University. This course has been designated for 15.25 dental CE credits and 15.25 AMA PRA Category 1 credits.
