Annual Spring Meeting

The Spring meeting will feature Dr. Robert Campbell as our keynote speaker. Dr Campbell has over 30 years experience in full-time academics at VCU/MCV and UNC-Chapel Hill as well as eight years experience in private practice. He has a wealth of experience in office based anesthesia and lectures nationally to many state societies as well as the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology on all aspects of adult and pediatric anesthesia. The topic of his presentation is: "Morbidity and Mortality: Case Histories and Scientific Discussions". This will be delivered as 10 to 15 minute presentations on each case with the opportunity for lively discussion to help facilitate a better scientific understanding of the bad outcomes as well as a better understanding of how the anesthesia provider was able to avoid serious complications. Following lunch there will be a brief business meeting.

August 17-19, 2012

The summer meeting will feature Mr. Brad Kucharo with McGill and Hill speaking on “Achieving Financial Success” on Saturday. A brief business meeting will follow. On Sunday, Dr. Steve Holmes and Debra Udey from OMSNIC will present “Risk Management for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon”. OMSNIC policy holders will receive a 5% premium credit for the next three policy periods.
